Richland, WA, July 14, 2008 - Representative Larry Haler is announcing his latest endorsements. During the last couple days Haler received written notification from the National Federation of Independent Business/ Washington State Save America’s Free Enterprise Trust, the Washington Food Industry, the Amalgamated Transit Union Legislative Council of Washington State, Service Employees International Union Healthcare 1199 NW, and Benton County Fire Protection District #4 Professional Fire Fighters Association Local 3889 that they have all endorsed Representative Larry Haler for State Representative, 8th Legislative District, Position 2.
In his endorsement of Representative Larry Haler, Troy Nichols, Washington State Director of the National Federation of Independent Business, stated, "Your efforts, and most importantly, your voting record, show that you understand the importance of small business to our state's economy. You have also demonstrated that you will fight to protect our free enterprise system and we appreciate your efforts."
Representative Haler responded, "I am honored to have received the endorsements of these five organizations. I will continue to be a strong voice, fighting against increasing state regulations and taxes on small business which threaten the health of our economy and an advocate for the hard-working citizens of our state."
These latest endorsements join a long list of other organizations which have endorsed Representative Haler's reelection such as the Association of Washington Business, Building Industry Association of Washington, Tri-Cities Housing Council, and Tri-Cities Association of REALTORS. Last week Haler announced endorsements by the Washington Council of Police & Sheriffs, and Washington State Nurses Association PAC.
