| 07/31/2008 | July Wrap Up | Today we are sharing the names of the latest organizations to endorse Larry Haler for State Representative, 8th District, position 2 . Letters have been received from the Children’s Campaign Fund, The Washington State Lodge Fraternal Order of Police, and the MH-PAC, a Political Action Committee affiliated with the Washington State Coalition of Mental Health Professionals and Consumers. Each of these organizations has chosen to support Larry Haler for reelection. For a more complete list of groups who support Larry, go to www.larryhaler.com and select Endorsements.
The Children’s Campaign Fund is the state’s only political action committee, “dedicated to helping elect state leaders who will make improving the lives of children and their families a political priority.” In their endorsement of Representative Larry Haler they declared Haler to be a “Champion For Children,” and applauded him for his “commitment to the health and well-being of children.”
These organizations join a growing list of supporters who know what we know - that Representative Larry Haler is doing a great job for us in Olympia!
At home in the 8th District, Larry is actively meeting with citizens and discussing the important issues our state is facing such as energy, transportation, health care, education, and the anticipated budget deficit. Last week Larry held his third neighborhood meeting of the summer, meeting with citizens in north Richland at the Apollo Hall to answer questions and hear what was on their minds. This evening Larry will be in a Kennewick neighborhood. Meetings are planned in Benton City, Richland, and West Richland in August. If you have questions or want to share what is on your heart and mind with Representative Haler go to www.larryhaler.com and click on the District Events Calendar link for the day, time and location of the next neighborhood meeting near you. There is also a link to email Larry directly.
Washington State Voter's Pamphlets and ballots for the August 19th primary election should be in the hands of voters this week. As you study the candidates and learn the facts, we hope you will come to the same conclusion that children's advocates, police, firefighters, teachers, business, health organizations, and the Benton County Republican Party have made when they endorsed Representative Larry Haler. Vote to reelect an open, accessible leader, Representative Larry Haler. |
