| 08/12/2008 | More Open, Accessible Leadership | Representative Larry Haler keeps in touch with the citizens of Benton County. Last week Larry was on the call-in KONA radio program "Talk of the Tri-Cities," attended the "All Republican" Potluck at the Kennewick Playground of Dreams gazebo, served as a conductor of the J.S. Express at Columbia Park, and joined a group of Representative Haler supporters who helped all day in Prosser at the Prosser Wine and Food Festival. Getting out of the office, meeting and speaking with constituents, helping in the communities he serves keep Representative Haler involved and grounded in the issues which matter to you most.
If you haven't yet been able to meet with Representative Haler, either as he has come to your front door or at any of the five neighborhood coffees he has held this summer, then perhaps you will want to take advantage of one of the next three dates and locations. Tomorrow, Wednesday, August 13th, from 7 - 8:30 p.m., Larry will be meeting with citizens in West Richland at 3405 Southlake Drive. Larry will be available to citizens at the Benton / Franklin County Fair and Rodeo Wednesday, August 20, from 7 - 10 p.m. and again on Friday, August 22, from 4 - 7 p.m.
Finally, don't be surprised if Representative Haler shows up on your doorstep between now and the November election. So far Larry has walked to nearly 10,000 homes in the 8th district. "Open, Accessible, Leadership" is not just a slogan for Representative Larry Haler. It is backed by action. |
